Services – Social Trips

DANSA runs a programme of social trips for communities and groups that are members of DANSA, please ask a member of Staff for details.

Social Trips can take older people and people with disabilities from the same community, to places that they are normally unable to get to because they are unable to access public transport, the difficulty of getting to the place or the cost of getting there.

DANSA plans on running social trips to a wide range of places including the National Waterfront Museum, the Botanical Gardens of Wales, various parts of Gower and Mumbles and other places that are identified as popular places to visit.

The Social Trip service will be restricted in the first year of DANSA as we intend on running a pilot programme from a handful of areas to see whether a full programme in our second year is viable.
